Good morning ECP! It is our goal to keep you informed over the events from the past week. As of today, our district has 4 confirmed Covid-19 cases with those being 2 high school students, 1 high school teacher and 1 elementary teacher. Our district has a total of 49 students and staff members on quarantine at this time, bringing our total numbers to 53 affected. Our district has deep cleaned all facilities over the past three days. We will continue with distance learning until October 20 when students and staff can safely return to in-person learning. All events have been cancelled until October 20. Our administrative team will be working over the next few days to reschedule as many events as possible. It saddens us all that our students and staff are experiencing the effects of Covid-19. We ask everyone to please be patient and to help us stop the spread by practicing social distancing, washing hands, wearing masks and taking any other necessary precautions. Thank you for your support!

Good morning Elementary Parents! The fundraiser will continue until October 20. All orders that were taken in person will be due when we return on that date. Orders that are in person will be delivered two to three weeks to the student's home following submission from the school. Internet orders will be shipped direclty to the purchaser within two-three weeks from ordering. Thank you for your support!

Good evening ECP Parents! The past three days our district has experienced positive cases within our schools. Today, a student at the high school tested positive following an exposure from an event Friday evening. This afternoon, another student tested postive for the virus and an elementary teacher tested positive. Due to the amount of quarantines that will occur from these two situations and due to both the teacher and one of the positive high school students being on campuses all day, we will be shifting to virtual learning beginning tomorrow, October 7. Students will learn from home from October 7-October 14. Fall Break will begin on October 15-19. Students will return to in-person learning on October 20. This will allow us time to clean all facilities, give our staff and students time to complete quarantine and help us stop the spread of this virus within our district and community. Please see the attached official letter. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1D2ESF30rK_S7e_Qc3qZd3D1iH2mmWaowhUcWc3c0g2o/edit?usp=sharing

Reminder, tonight’s MS/JH football games with Stratford have been canceled.

Good morning ECP! Late yesterday evening we were notified that an opposing high school football player tested postive Sunday morning for COVID-19. Our team played against this player on Friday night. Our district worked with the local health department to identify players that were in close direct contact with the opposing player. The parents of the ECP players in direct contact were notified last night and those players began a 14-day quarantine.
Due to the amount of players on quarantine, the game scheduled for this Friday, October 9 has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled. Homecoming events for the week have been postponed until the week of October 12-16. The game scheduled on Thursday, October 15 with Wynnewood has been moved to Saturday, October 17. We will recognize the Homecoming events on Saturday, October 17 with a parade at 10:00 a.m. followed by the coronation at 6:15 p.m. and a kick-off against Wynnewood at 7:00 p.m.
Please see the attached letter for official information regarding the direct exposure. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mpP0Gt5UFkDAGjKakxS3gJaizX5m6v3RQPs5p0TvRWY/edit?usp=sharing

Good evening ECP! Late this evening, we received information that some of our students were in direct contact with a student from another district that has tested positive for COVID-19. We are working closely with the local health officials and with the families that will be directly affected by this situation. Tomorrow, we will be making more decisions about activities over the next two weeks. We will make an official release tomorrow once the work is completed with the local health officials.
