Each year, the Elmore City – Pernell Foundation for Excellence awards scholarships to local graduating seniors who plan to continue their education. Scholarship amounts vary depending on available funding and will be awarded based on a combination of factors including (but not limited to) academic achievement, extra-curricular / organization participation, leadership, community service, financial need, and College / Career Tech planning. Special Announcement for High School Juniors
Murray State College is offering area high school juniors a tuition-free head start in obtaining college credits this fall & spring. Students preparing to enter their junior year in high school can enroll in up to six credit hours of tuition-free concurrent courses at the college tuition free.
Students interested in taking advantage of the tuition-free offer, which is currently only available for the fall 2021 and spring 2022 semesters, must meet all concurrent enrollment program admission requirements. Enrollment for the fall semester is currently open and classes will begin August 16th.
More information on concurrent enrollment may be obtained by calling (580)387-7201/(580)387-7202 or visiting the concurrent enrollment page on the Murray State College website, mscok.edu.
